Sumac Onions

No shawarma, wrap or platter is complete without sumac onions. They are so easy to make and literally take 20 minutes from start to end. If you use them immediately then 2 minutes, but I always recommend letting them sit and soak up all that flavour. 



Sumac Onions


Preparation Time 5 minutes 

Marination Time 20 minutes 

Serves


Ingredients 


2 onions- sliced 

1/4 cup Fresh coriander- chopped

Salt- to taste 

2 teaspoons sumac 

2 tablespoons lemon juice/ vinegar 

1 tablespoon olive oil







Instructions 


  1. Mix all the ingredients together and set them aside for 20 minutes before serving.
