Churros are the perfect snack when you are on the go. Whether you are at the state fair or funfair, amusement park or even just on a car ride, churros are perfect snacking foods! This recipe for churros is super easy and simple, so that anyone, beginner baker to expert can make them.

Ingredients
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup flour
4 eggs- cold
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Canola oil- to deep fry
Instructions
In a saucepan, combine the water, milk, butter, 1/2 cup sugar and salt. Bring it to a boil on a medium heat. Melt the butter until the mixture is smooth.
Remove the pan from the stove and add the flour. Mix it well. Put it back on the stove and cook for 3-4 minutes until the excess moisture is dried up and a thin film forms on the bottom of the pan.
Beat the cold eggs in a separate bowl. Slowly add the eggs one at a time, mixing the flour mixture with a wooden spoon until it comes together. Add the eggs, a quarter at a time, mixing well between each addition. Mix well until thick.
Heat 2 inches of oil in a shallow pan to 170c
Transfer the dough to a pastry bag with a star tip (1M).
Pipe 6 inch churros into the pan. Fry 1-2 minutes each side on medium heat until golden. Remove from the heat and blot.
Combine 1/2 cup sugar with 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Mix well. Roll the churros in the sugar while they are still hot. Shake off excess and set them aside.
Serve with chocolate ganache.
