Chocolate Brownie Bundt Cake

Updated: Feb 16, 2021

This is quite possibly the easiest cake you will ever make! It takes moments to come together and tastes amazing! This is my go-to cake when I don't have much time and have to get rid of a couple boxes of mixes laying around. The cake is dense and fudgy like brownies and rich and soft like a chocolate cake.

I also added a chocolate ganache to this cake so we could make it a 'little fancy'. But make sure the cake is completely cooled before pouring the ganache on top. You can adjust the thickness of the ganache to your preference.

I'm not going to waste your time with more words, instead ima give you all the recipe.

Preparation time 5 minutes

Cook time 1 hour

Serves 12

Ingredients

Cake

1 box chocolate fudge cake mix

1 box chocolate fudge brownie mix

4 eggs

1 1/4 cups milk

1 cup vegetable oil

Ganache

200 grams chopped chocolate

200 ml cream- 150 ml if you want a thicker ganache

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 180 celsius. Prepare the bundt pan, by spraying down with an oil spray or with butter then brush with cocoa powder.

  • Sift the cake mix and brownie mix into a bowl. Add the eggs, milk and oil to the mixture.

  • Whisk well until combined

  • Pour into the prepared pan, and bake for 1 hour and until an inserted skewer comes out clean.

  • Cool the cake in the pan for 15 minutes before removing from the pan and setting on a wire rack to cool until room temperature.

  • For the ganache, Heat the cream and chocolate in the microwave at 3 30 second bursts, until melted. Mix well and allow to sit until cooled and thickened.

  • Pour over cooled cake and allow to set.
