Chicken Fajita Sandwiches

When I tell you these Sandwiches are awesome, you better believe it. These cheesy spicy chicken fajita sandwiches are now a family favourite and my friends can't stop raving about them!





Preparation Time 10 minutes

Cook Time 20 minutes

Serves 2


Ingredients


4 bread slices

100 grams boneless chicken breasts - cut into small cubes

1 green bell pepper - finely chopped

1/2 onion- finely chopped

1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder

3/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon cumin powder

1/2 teaspoon coriander powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon oregano powder

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

4 tablespoons ketchup

1 tablespoon soya sauce

1 tablespoon chilli sauce

1 cup cheese- shredded







Instructions


  1. Heat the 1 Tablespoon oil in a pan. Fry the chicken for 5 minutes on a medium heat.

  2. Add the chilli powder, salt, pepper, cumin powder, coriander powder, paprika, oregano, garlic, soya sauce, vinegar and chilli sauce to the chicken. Stir well.

  3. Add the vegetables and cook for 2 minutes on a low heat.

  4. pour in the ketchup and stir. Turn off the heat.

  5. Assemble sandwiches with the chicken fajita mixture and the shredded cheese.

  6. Grill the sandwiches for 3-4 minutes.

  7. Serve with fries and coleslaw, or if you are trying to be healthy then with a salad.
